Date, Time, Location: This rental agreement, between the above (“Host”) and Vendor. The events are rain or shine. The spaces below indicate whether the event is indoors or outdoors. For outdoor events, In the event of inclement weather, the event will be moved indoors and the space size will be 8’x10’.

Vendor may arrive at the Market between 7:30 am and 9:00 am. to set up. All vendors must be finished with their set up by 10:00 am. Vendor is not to arrive on venue property prior to designated set up time. Vendor is responsible for disposing of all debris at the conclusion of the Market. A $50 fee will be charged for any debris left behind. Vendor is responsible for bringing a tent if necessary, tables, chair, tablecloth, and any products necessary for your stand.

Rental Fee: The rental fee must be paid within two weeks of receipt of this contract and is non-refundable. Payment shall be remitted via Zelle to
marketevents111@yahoo.com or Venmo at @harrykritikos (last 4 digits are 4008), Cashapp, Apple Pay, or Credit Card – as detailed on next page. As space is limited, spaces will be granted on a first-come first-paid basis. If a payment is sent after the event has reached its maximum vendor count, you will be notified and your payment returned to you. Your spot will not be reserved unless both payment and the contract are returned and you receive confirmation from the Host, in writing. There shall be absolutely no smoking or alcohol on venue property. Vendors may not pack up early without prior approval from the host. Any vendor who leaves early shall pay a penalty of $50.00. All vendors, including food and dessert vendors, are responsible for securing any permits necessary to sell their products, including permits through the Department of Health.

Parking:
Vendor is permitted to temporarily park the car in a designated parking spot near the entrance of the venue solely to load/unload merchandise and set up between the times of 7:30 am and 9:00 am. Once you have unloaded, but before finishing your set up, you must move the car to a parking space towards the end of the parking lot. If you fail to move your vehicle to a spot towards the end of the parking lot by 9:30 a.m., you will be asked to leave the property and forfeit your spot for the day. Any vendors parked illegally are subject to be towed at their own expense.

Assignment of Space: Vendor acknowledges that the location and configuration of the spaces may vary. Host shall be entitled, in its sole discretion, to market, position and determine assignment of spaces to all vendors. Vendors may not choose the location of their space, and may not change the location of their space. Vendor may not exceed the footprint of Vendor’s designated Space. Let’s all remember that all vendors are looking to have a successful day, which includes profitable and enjoyable. Please be courteous to fellow vendors, guests, and most importantly, enter into this event with a great attitude. Vendor agrees to sell only the items listed below in this application. Vendor acknowledges that the Host is attempting to limit duplication of vendors selling the same items but cannot guarantee that you will be an exclusive vendor of the items you sell. We reserve the right to remove a vendor at our discretion. Vendor agrees to be respectful of all persons on the property. There is no electricity on the premises. If you require electricity, you must bring your own.

Hold Harmless: Vendor agrees to indemnify and hold harmless MarketEvents111 LLC, Samanea Mall, Lesso Mall, and Theocharis Kritikos, Village of Freeport, Freeport Recreation Center, its affiliates, officers, employees, and representatives from and against any and all losses, lawsuits, judgments, causes of action, costs, damages, claims (actual or alleged) and expenses resulting from claims for bodily injury, death, property destruction, or property damage arising out of or incidental to or in any way resulting from the acts or omissions, whether negligent or otherwise, of the Vendor, its employees, subcontractors, or agents, if any, in performance under this Agreement and the use of its Space at the Market and in the common areas of the Market during the Term. By initializing below, you agree to the terms of this agreement.

Vendor w/ Premium Escalator Space - $100

FREEPORT RECREATION CENTER - INDOORS
8’x 7’ space size
Vendor - $80
Desserts - $100

 
Discounts for Vendors: Spaces are limited and there is a cap on the number of vendors taken for these events. These discounts below are being offered as an incentive for vendors to lock in their spaces quickly. Any vendor who does not reserve and pay within two weeks of receipt of this contract will not be entitled to the discount pricing listed below.

Vendors:
Reserve 4 days - $60 per day
Reserve 6 days - $50 per day


Dessert Vendors:
Reserve 4 days - $85 per day
Reserve 6 days - $75 per day


Food Vendors:
Reserve 4 days - $110 per day
Reserve 6 days - $100 per day

Late Fee: Any vendor who returns their contract and payment within 5 days of the event date will pay a $25 late fee per day, unless the application was given to the vendor within said 5 day period.
